Template creation

This template was created to replace the list of units that existed for a long time on Kilometre and many other SI length unit articles. I thought the list should be either removed or transformed into a template. As I didn't want to remove the list without any discussion, I created the template to carry the list while this is discussed.

The following appears on this article, and other articles for SI units of length:

nanometer <<< micrometer <<< millimeter < centimeter < decimeter < meter < decameter < hectometer < kilometer <<< megameter

I think this list should be made using a template, or it should be removed. I would create the template myself, if I had experience with the MediaWiki template language, but I don't know if this list is really desirable on every length unit article. I did it: I have created Template:SI units of length. If the list of length units is supposed to appear on the many articles, at least it is on a template. If the community thinks the list of units on each article is not relevant, the template may be proposed for deletion. If this template is considered useful, maybe it could be expanded into a SI units template, referencing all SI base units and derived units that have a wikipedia article.
